Finding out who is behind an email that you are receiving will help you make a wise and informed decision on how you proceed.  If you can quickly get the information from a social network email search, it should not be too hard to contact that person and ask them to cease sending out the emails.  If it’s a simple spam from a company, you can contact them to remove you from their recipient list and they will gladly oblige.  If you get back data about the person that makes you uncomfortable or worrisome then you can contact the managing board of the domain site that where they have their email account and they should take care of it.  Or you could go straight to law officials to handle things.  Getting to the bottom of this usually pesky, but sometimes scary, problem is important so you can go forward and enjoy opening your inbox again!
